At Little Lodge, our Little Learners tweenie room nurtures purposeful, engaged children who are actively making sense of their world. Natural curiosity becomes focused learning as children ask endless questions, solve problems creatively, and make connections between experiences.
Our Little Learners care routine is thoughtfully designed to support developing independence and growing capabilities. We tailor our care based on a detailed profile that outlines your child’s health, nutrition, and daily routines, whilst encouraging self-help skills and confidence.
Little Learners experience rich imaginative and role-play opportunities, focused learning activities in small groups, creative arts and music, construction, problem-solving challenges, and daily outdoor exploration. We hold children’s views and opinions highly, discussing matters that are important to them each day during circle time.
Little Learners’ days are structured with purposeful play, focused learning activities, and circle time, helping children develop the concentration and social skills needed for their next steps.
We welcome children from around 2½ years old, and they remain in our Little Learners Room until they show readiness for Little Lodgers, typically around 3½ years, when they demonstrate confident communication, growing focus, and strong friendship skills.
