At Little Lodge Nursery in Leamington Spa, we believe that healthy, delicious nursery food is fundamental to your child’s wellbeing and development. Our in-house chef team prepares all meals fresh on site daily, using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients wherever possible.
From Weaning to Preschool
We cater for children at every stage of their nursery food journey. Our youngest children in Little Explorers are supported with weaning, introducing new tastes and textures at a pace that suits each baby’s individual development. As children grow through our rooms, they progress to enjoying family-style meals, learning to use cutlery independently, and developing healthy eating habits that will last a lifetime.
Our Little Lodgers Preschool children have the special experience of eating lunch in the Arnold Lodge School dining room, giving them a taste of school life and helping them feel confident about their transition to Reception.
Our Menu Approach
We operate a varied three-week cycled menu, which means your child enjoys different nutritious options for lunch and teatime throughout the month. Our menus include a balanced mix of familiar favourites and new dishes to try, helping children develop adventurous palates while ensuring they always have something they enjoy.
Example dishes include homemade lasagne, mild chicken curry with rice, fish pie, vegetable pasta bake, and jacket potatoes, alongside healthy snacks like fruit, vegetable sticks, breadsticks, and yoghurt.
Dietary Requirements and Allergies
We welcome children with all dietary requirements and work closely with families to accommodate allergies, intolerances, religious preferences, and vegetarian or vegan diets. Our chef is experienced in preparing alternative meals that are just as delicious and nutritious as our standard menu, ensuring no child misses out.

What’s Included
All meals and snacks are included in your nursery fees. Children enjoy breakfast (if arriving early), morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and tea depending on their session times. We provide fresh drinking water throughout the day and milk at mealtimes for younger children.
